OUR STORY
Lorri Hicks Cazenave is the founder and creative director of Hicks Cazenave Interior Design, a San Francisco studio known for creating interiors with patina, pulse, and personality. Her spaces feel collected rather than decorated — layered with art, craft, and objects that carry history.
Trained in art history and shaped by early years working with design legends Richard Keith Langham, Glenn Gissler, and Waldo Fernandez, Lorri developed a finely tuned eye for contrast — old and new, soulful and sculptural, refined yet a little undone. Her work has touched homes from President Obama’s Martha’s Vineyard retreat to San Francisco’s most character-rich residences, always guided by the same philosophy: that beauty should feel lived in, not staged.
Her interiors tell stories — not of trends, but of lives well-traveled.
